David is currently the Head of Data at Kumospace. As its first data science hire, he is responsible for building the infrastructure and processes to advance a data-driven decision-making culture. From data pipelines to customer segmentation analyses, David’s primary mission is partnering with Product, Marketing and Sales stakeholders to fuel the company’s growth.
Before Kumospace, David was a Director of Internal Analytics at TrueAccord, a fast-growing fintech startup. He led a team of data analysts covering a wide range of analytics domains, including product, marketing, operations and forecasting in a highly regulated industry.
Prior to that, David worked at Intercom, where he was the data science partner for GTM and Marketing stakeholders. David began his career in M&A finance and HR analytics for CEMEX (NYSE: CX) in Mexico and Singapore, before joining a PE/VC fund to lead FP&A initiatives among its portfolio companies.
David holds a B.Sc. in Information Systems from Tec de Monterrey, is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development and has passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst program.
